So, I've recently deleted a bunch of essential files in my home folder thinking that they were somehow misplaced.
After deleting them I found out that they were just hidden and I had the (Ctrl + H - Show hidden files) option turned on.
It was a stupid error and now I'm here asking for help. Is there a way to recover the files? I'm trying to use testdisk and photorec to recover them but it's so confusing.
